A good tight unworn book with slightly yellowed page edges. DJ has 2cm square piece missing from bottom front near spine, text unaffected. DJ is browned, rather grubby, especially the spine, and corner chipped. price clipped.

A very good 113 page hardback book without inscriptions or other marks. Light browning and foxing to page fore-edges. Very light corner rub. DJ is good with light rubbing along head and foot and sunning to spine. Light rubbing to the fore-corners and joints. Also some mild browning. Book was revised and brought up-to-date by J Du Mont. Book is clean and tight.

Seventh edition, 1948. A reading copy, with spine edges strengthened with green PVC tape (!!). A few annotations on endpapers. Page edges browned, covers mottled, spine faded. Tight and clean inside, though, and a good serviceable reference.

A very good example of the revised 1987 edition clean, tight and free of inscriptions or other marks. Very light touch of corner rub. Small area of endpaper and half-title "skinned" by adhesive spread during manufacture - this is at most 1/4" by 1", tucked down at the bottom of the page next the hinge. No DJ.
