A very good 224 page hardback book without inscriptions. Clean and tight, light shelfwear, top edge a little dusty. Some foxing spots to endpapers, spine a little darkened. Typical thirties-style illustration of the new guildhall (the official opening of which was the catalyst for the publication of this book) on front cover. A well written and interesting book. Several illustrations, errata slip bound into page 137 correcting the name of the theatre shown in the illustration on that page.
