A good 386 page hardback book without DJ. Someone (presumeably the previous owner) decided to razor out the front endpaper, I suppose to remove his ownership details. Unfortunately he also managed to slice the half-title page as well! He then sellotaped this back in position, thus making a lovely almost unworn book into just a "good" one. The dimwit! Something (a soft drink, maybe?) has been splashed onto the top edge, where it has dried into a slightly grubby film. Ignoring these faults, if that's possible, what remains is a very nice, tight, almost unworn book. Pity the clown couldn't have left it that way. Volume 3 of the "Chemical Senses" series. 24 chapters in five parts. 42 contributors.
