A very good clean tight 157 page paperback example of the January 1976 eighth edition without inscriptions or other marks. Tight and clean, light edge rub, seems little used. Warped overall due to poor storage, but this is recovering slowly on proper shelving. A full description, well illustrated, of the terrible events of the night of Friday, August 15th 1952; Events possibly triggered by Military tests at rainmaking over Exmoor in the preceding days. I visited Lynmouth in 1970, and the flood was still on everyone's lips, eighteen years later.
