A very good 189 page ex-library hardback book with the usual stamps & labels. Clean and tight, top edge a little dusty & foxed, a touch of wrinkle to top edge of DJ. 13 chapters - twelve on different people operated on by Sava - an epilogue, no index and no illustrations, which would have been a fascinating addition. Plastic surgery on people working in occupied Europe during WWII, to disguise their identity from the enemy.
