A good book without inscriptions. Paper split along hinge between frontispiece and title page, and binding beween signatures is generally tender. Covers mottled and marked. Corners rubbed. Typical thirties-style illustration of the new guildhall (the official opening of which was the catalyst for the publication of this book) on front cover. A well written and interesting book.
