A very good book with 3/6 written on front endpaper (those were the days!). No other marks. Endpapers foxed, page edges dulled, light corner rub. DJ is complete but tatty with corner rub, chipping at head and foot of spine, and some short closed tears plus a chipped 2" tear at top rear. A very competent biography of one of the shunned heroes of the Second World War, a man who deserves far greater recognition than that accorded him by the establishment.
